I love coming home to a fresh smelling house, unfortunately with a baby (lots of dirty diapers) that isn't always the case. As much as I love scented candles, I don't really use them because I'm a little forgetful, and I'm afraid I'll leave them on by accident. I really like the design of the new Fragrance Mist. It's unique and stylish, and when you peel the sticker off, it blends right into any room. It doesn't look like your typical room spray. The Glade Expressions Fragrance Mist is a refillable fragrance spray. You keep the base and buy refills. I love the Cotton & Italian Mandarin fragrance I was sent. It's a very clean and fresh scent, which is what I love my house to smell like!

The Glade Expressions Oil Diffuser delivers fragrance in an elegant design. It's available in cream and bamboo panels. Every starter kit comes with a decorative holder, oil bottle and diffuser card. I received the Lavender & Juniper Berry Oil Diffuser with the cream panels. The holder is really nice and looks great in any room. The smell is awesome. I had mine in the living room and when I woke up the next morning I could smell the fragrance down the hall and even into the kitchen. I can't wait to try out the different fragrances, especially the Pineapple & Mangosteen!

Guylian Chocolates Review & Giveaway

I have a very distinct memory from when I was a kid of a box of chocolates in the shape of seashells that my Uncle brought from Germany after being stationed there. I don't remember much else, but it's one of those random memories that's been stuck in my brain.

Fast forward to last week. After accepting an offer to review some chocolate (Guys, I will NEVER say no to chocolate, just so you know.) I received a box FULL of Guylian truffles, and what do you know, they were those same shell-shaped candies from that long, lost memory. Small world!

Of course, me and my boys dove right in. These Belgian chocolates are wonderful. You know our friends overseas definitley know how to do chocolate right. I took the small boxes to the girls on Valentine's Day and they raved about how good they were. These truffles with praline filling are so creamy. I could eat a whole (big) box by myself!

Last week I was dealing with some personal issues that had me down in the dumps and reaching for comfort food, and I had a 2 pound weight gain. This week I've been more focused and sticking with my Nutrisystem program and I've lost a pound. I think I'm finally done with the excuses for my bad eating. I'm ready to continue on my weight loss journey, and I plan on doing my best.

When I first started Nutrisystem I was super motivated and the results speak for themselves. Sticking to the Nutrisystem program really works. Around the holidays I started to get side tracked by all the goodies and I fell into a rut, but now I'm feeling motivated again. I want to keep losing weight. I've decided to give up soda for good. I don't drink regular soda, but I drink diet soda and it interferes with my water intake. So from now on I'm only going to drink water. I'm also going to continue sticking to the Nutrisystem program. I know if I do these things, the weight will start to come off again...I can't wait to see more results!!!

I love being on Nutrisystem. It's so easy and convenient. I feel bad for falling off the wagon this week, especially with Valentine's Day coming up. I can't wait to hit the 40 pound weight loss mark.

Potty Target Review and Giveaway

So. We are potty training. I hate it. Seriously, it's the biggest up-and-down roller coaster of successes and setback, and I am tired of cleaning dirty underwear. When Max was two, we started asking if he wanted to try and sit on the potty. We started very, very slowly and after several months, he finally started having small success in peeing in the potty. When he started half days at daycare this summer, he even asked to wear underwear, and came home dry! Then I went and had another baby, and it all went to pot. (Pun intended.)

He was so traumatized by Mommy being gone for a whole week, and then coming home with a baby, that he refused to even look at a potty for over FIVE WEEKS. Then one day, he started peeing in the potty again. Yay! We still had issues with that #2 thing. Then he gets this horrible rash on his bottom that turned out to be a strep infection, and was clearly very, very painful. I'm talking screaming, crying, and fighting. So he would hold his #2s, but end up going tiny bits about 10 times a day, causing it to stay in a constant state of irritation. It was awful for all of us. The worst part was the he regressed with peeing too! He's finally clearing up, but still traumatized and holding it still. We are finally back on track with peeing though, partly due to the Potty Target.

The Potty Target is a small sticker that goes on the inside of your toilet bowl and gives your little guy (or even the Big Guy too!) something to aim for. This make Mommy happy because Max is finally willing to pee in the potty again, and I have less messes from my TWO guys. Woo-hoo!! You can pick from several styles (I LOVE the fly design! Too funny.) I went with the standard target, and Max loves to come tell me that he peed on the target. I would definitely recommend the Potty Target for moms with little boys. Or husbands.

I had a great week last week. I followed the Nutrisystem program strictly, hoping to lose weight, and I lost a pound. To be honest, I was a little disappointed that I only lost 1 pound after being strict for a week, but a pound is better than nothing. My biggest problem is the weekends...ugh it's so hard to be good on the weekends. I usually make the excuse that since I've been good all week, I deserve a reward...which is usually pizza...not good!

I'm feeling so good this week! Not only did I lose a pound last week, but I've started this week off right with some exercise. I know some people would rather exercise than diet but I'm the opposite. I'd rather diet than exercise...but I know I need to do both to successfully lose the weight and keep it off. With the help of Nutrisystem I've lost a total of 32 pounds so far!

I'm loving all the new Nutrisystem changes. I received a shipment of frozen foods last week, and was surprised to find some yummy new foods. I love Nutrisystem's fresh-frozen foods, they are so good especially the lunches. I have to say the frozen pizzas and the Steak and Cheese Melt are my favorites, but this week I got to try the Beef, Bean, and Cheese Burrito and it was really good. I love the breakfast burrito too, I think part of it has to do with how filling they are.

This week I didn't lose or gain any weight. I just stayed the same. I can't complain too much, since I lost 2 pounds last week, and staying the same is better than gaining. I really need to up my water intake, I noticed I don't drink nearly as much water as I use too.

Not only did I get to try some new lunches this week, I also tried out some new dinners. The Whole Wheat Ricotta Crepes from the new Chef's Table dinners was pretty good. I love pasta, so it's nice to still be able to eat pasta and lose weight!

I've been eating my Nutriystem pizzas for dinner, since I LOVE PIZZA, but this week I'm going to change it up and try out the rest of my Chef's Table dinners. Tonight I'm looking forward to trying the Moroccan Inspired Chicken. The chicken in almond sauce looks yummy!

The FairyPaint Box Review and Giveaway!

As a product reviewer, I've gotten to review a lot of great products. Many of the products I've reviewed, I've liked, but none of them have taken my breath away like the hand painted wall letters I received from The Fairy Paintbox.

Emily, the owner and artist of The Fairy Paintbox, was wonderful to work with. She wanted me to get the feel of the whole process and let me pick the letter font, the design I liked (Star Wars), and sent me updates and pictures of the work in progress. When I received the letters I was stunned. Actually I wasn't the only one, EVERYONE in my family was super impressed. Seriously, they are gorgeous. There's so much detail put into each letter, and the fact they they are hand painted is amazing. The paint adds texture to the letters, making them pop. Emily is a very talented artist.

The wooden letters are sturdy and perfect for hanging on the wall. The letters of my son's name are connected, but you can also purchase the letters unconnected or separate, like in the pictures below.

About the Artist:

Emily started painting murals in 2005 to help pay for school, while she was a junior at Penn State University. She was also a young single mom at the time and couldn't bear to be away from her daughter, so she tried figuring out ways to make her painting business function from home. After being asked to create wall letters, Emily knew the direction she wanted to go with her business. After her first successful wall letter order, she started advertising online and received such an amazing response that within a year, painting wall letters became her primary source of income.

After graduating Penn State in 2007, she had fully developed her online business selling all kinds of custom children's decor and continues doing so today. Over the past two years business has grown significantly. Emily is now married with four young children, operating the business and working on her first novel. Emily also has her own mom blog at www.fourlittlemonsters.com which has been featured in The Penn Starter magazine as well as Metrokids magazine.

Sweets On a Stick! Book Review and Giveaway!

I love baking and decorating. I think it's because I like to make things pretty! I got into decorating cakes and cupcakes a few years back when I took cake decorating classes at Michaels, and I really enjoy it. I'm always look for new, fun, and creative ideas so I when I was asked to review Sweets on a Stick, recipe book, I happily said, "Yes!"

Sweets on a Stick has over 150 kid-friendly recipes for cakes, candies, cookies, and pies! There are so many great recipes in this book, one for any occasion you can think of. The book is divided into different sections, (one section for cake pops, another for cookies on a stick, etc.) making it easy to find recipes by dessert.

I really like the first chapter, which explains the different equipment and ingredients you may be working with. I've never made cake pops before so I found this section really informative. One of the best things about Sweets on a Stick is all the great pictures. All the recipes are so cute and creative. I just wish there was a picture for every recipe, so I can have an idea of what the final outcome will look like.

I haven't had a chance to make anything yet but I can't wait to try making cake pops. Since Valentine's is the next "holiday," I plan on using the recipe to create the "Bunch of Roses" cakes pops. They're so cute and would be perfect for my Valentine!

This was my first official week starting Nutrisystem SUCCESS, and I LOVE all the new changes. Nutrisystem has added some new items to their menu, including protein shakes. This week I tried their two new breakfast items, the Chocolate Frosted Donut and the Honey Wheat Bagel...and let me tell you they are DELICIOUS!! I'm so happy I can have a bagel with cream cheese (low-fat, of course!) for breakfast, it's so good.

I really like that Nuturisystem has added protein shakes to their SUCCESS program. I've been having one every morning with my breakfast and I've noticed that I feel fuller longer. The protein shakes come in Creamy Chocolate, Refreshing Coffee, Smooth Vanilla, and Sweet Strawberry. My absolute favorite is the Refreshing Coffee with Creamy Chocolate coming in second.

Along with the protein shakes, Nutrisystem sent me a cool little shake mixer/cup. I've always made my protein shakes with the blender so I was a little skeptical about using the shake mixer/cup, but I gave it a try and it is AWESOME!! I'm so glad I don't have to dirty my blender, I just mix my shake in the mixer cup and drink it from there....EASY!

I can't believe another year has come and gone. Time is going by way too fast. No more holiday foods to tempt me around the house, no more excuses! This week I didn't gain any weight but I didn't lose any either. It's been pretty embarrassing having to admit that I haven't lost any weight/gained weight, but I'm sharing my weight loss journey honestly. I'm far from perfect and you've seen me struggle with my diet during the holidays...but now they're over...and I'm ready to kick butt again!

Zazzle Personalized T-shirts Review

I'm a huge fan of personalized gifts, not just for Christmas gifts but for birthdays and special occasions too. Personalization just makes everything more special.

I was recently introduced to Zazzle and was surprised by how much they have to offer. You can personalize almost anything! From shirts, hats, iphone cases, binders, Doodle speakers, aprons, etc. Seriously, its so cool! I was able to pick some items to review and I decided on some Big Bro/Lil Bro matching shirts for my boys.

There are tons of Big Bro/Lil Bro shirts to choose from, and they're all so cute! I chose the MOD Blocks Big Bro/Lil Bro blue and brown personalized t-shirts for my boys. What I found out about Zazzle is that you can truly personalize the shirts to your liking. I picked the regular white t-shirts for my boys but you can even choose the style and color of the shirt. Pretty cool!

(Lil Bro doesn't like taking pictures, I tried to get him in but he escaped!)

The Big Bro and Lil Bro shirts are too cute! Seriously I love seeing my boys in their matching personalized shirts. My oldest loves being the big brother and was super happy with his shirt, especially since it had his name on it. He was even happier when he saw that his little brother had a matching shirt too! I like that the shirts are soft and comfortable for the kids, and that they're true to size.

Now that I know about Zazzle I'm definitely going to be buying my personalized gifts from them. Valentines will be here soon and I know I can find my hubby something cool.

Well Christmas is officially over....awww that makes me so sad. I love Christmas time, but seriously the food was killing me! I didn't want to ruin the holidays by denying myself some goodies, but honestly some days I indulged a little more than others. Ok, maybe a lot more! So needless to say I was pretty scared to step on the scale after Christmas. Well guess what? I only gained 1 pound!!! I was seriously thinking more along the lines of 4 or 5 pounds but 1 pound gained during Christmas time is alright with me!

New Years is just around the corner and I've already ordered my first shipment of Nutriystem SUCCESS, I can't wait to get started. The new foods looks so yummy, especially the bagel for breakfast. I love bagels and I've missed them. I'm most excited about the protein shakes, I just know they are going to help with losing weight. Plus the extra protein should help me stay fuller for longer.

I have a few New Year's resolutions for 2012. My 1st resolution is to get closer to God. My 2nd is to be a better mother and wife...meaning more time with the family, less time on the computer!
